Pre-Publication Misconduct
The Journal on Baltic Security submits manuscripts to non-repository Turnitin for a similarity check upon submission. All instances of similarity flagged are investigated fully.
During the desk read, the Editors-in-Chief conduct content verification. After the peer review process, the Managing Editor does an additional round of content verification.
If it is found that submitted content is misrepresented, falsified, or fabricated at any point during the publishing process, the manuscript is rejected.
Post-Publication Misconduct
If research misconduct is brought to light after publication, the Editors-in-Chief of the Journal on Baltic Security will follow our internal Journal regulations on convening an Ethics Committee as well as COPE Guidelines on proper procedure for the public retraction of published works.
