Fees
There are no fees for submitting, publishing, or reviewing a manuscript. You will never be asked to contribute financially.
There are no fees associated with a subscription or pay-per-view of any article. The Baltic Defence College, and therefore the Journal on Baltic Security, are publicly funded institutions and therefore all materials produced by the Journal on Baltic Security are - and always will be - free to the public via our website.
Revenue Sources
The Journal on Baltic Security is maintained as a programme of the Baltic Defence College. There are no fees or associated costs surrounding subscriptions, reprint, institutional support, or organisational support.
Neither authors, nor peer reviewers, nor international editorial board members receive monetary compensation for their involvement in the publishing process or with the journal generally.
Editors-in-Chief, Managing Editors, and Technical Editors take on responsibilities at the Journal on Baltic Security as part of their institutional positions at the Baltic Defence College.
Advertising and Marketing Policy
The Journal on Baltic Security does not conduct any commercial activities. We do not allow advertising in the journal content in any capacity.
The only marketing done on behalf of the Journal on Baltic Security is the virtual sharing of our Calls for Papers and of published articles through official Baltic Defence College social media pages and communication methods.
