Journal on Baltic Security 2026
The Journal on Baltic Security announces a Call for Papers for the Spring 2026 Special Edition!
Alongside the Baltic Defence College, the Journal on Baltic Security focuses on security and defence matters in the Wider Baltic region. We aim to explore the current and future challenges within our dynamic strategic environment while proposing solutions for addressing the pressing challenges of today.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- European Defence and Security Policy
- NATO’s Northeastern Flank
- Comprehensive, Total, or Civil Defence
- Regional Security Threats and Concerns
- NATO Integration, Cohesion, or Interoperability
- Enhanced Forward Presence
- Resilience and Complexity
- Lessons Learned from Ukraine
- Operational Art in the Age of AI
- Resistance Operating Concept
- Hybrid Threats or Asymmetric Warfare
- Baltic Cooperation
Articles should range from 8,000 to 10,000 words. The Journal on Baltic Security accepts electronic submissions, preferably in Microsoft Word format, but also accommodates WordPerfect and .rtf files. All submissions should be written in UK English, use Harvard referencing, and include author affiliations and disclaimers if necessary. Additionally, please include a 100-word abstract and ensure your bibliography is listed alphabetically. Tables, charts, and illustrations must be properly numbered and titled.
